Hours: Minimum 2 hours per week
Role Summary:
Support the charity’s outreach sessions by engaging with the community, promoting energy-efficiency advice, and helping individuals understand practical ways to reduce energy costs and improve household wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend outreach sessions in the community as part of the charity team
- Speak with service users about energy-saving tips and available support
- Provide simple guidance on reducing bills, improving home efficiency, and understanding energy usage
- Signpost individuals to relevant schemes, grants, or further support when needed
- Distribute leaflets, resources, and energy-efficiency information
- Build trust with community members and represent the charity professionally
- Record basic feedback or concerns and pass them to senior staff for follow-up
