Depending on your help request, once your application has been received, a member of the UKeff team will contact you to request further information. This may include some or all of the following documents:

  • Proof of ID for yourself, your partner, and any children in the household
  • A full Universal Credit statement
  • Proof of any other income received by you or your partner
  • Bank statements for the last 3 months from all accounts held by you, your partner, and any adults living in your household (including adult children)
  • A copy of your full tenancy agreement
  • Proof of all outgoing bills
  • Proof of any outstanding debts

We will not be able to proceed with your application or offer any support unless this information is provided when requested. Please ensure you are willing and able to provide this documentation.

If you are applying for food support:

You will need to include a recent bank statement for every adult account holder in the household. These bank statements should:

  • include the application date
  • show at least 30 days of transactions up to the application date
  • be for all accounts held by all adult account holders in the household
  • show incoming and outgoing payments and current balances
  • show the sort code, account number and account holder name
  • be saved in .pdf format (not screenshots)
