She could walk into a room and lift the mood before she even spoke.*
Tamby Tasneem Dowling was a dedicated mother of six, a caring daughter, sister and family member, and the most loyal friend to many. A fierce defender of the vulnerable and oppressed, she would always help anyone who came to her in need of support.
Her door was always open, her home was filled with visitors, and her kettle was always just boiled.*
Unknown by many, she was an invaluable UKeff supporter and volunteer, helping to deliver food parcels to those in need from the very early days of the charity.
She fell victim to domestic abuse in the most severe manner and was murdered in front of her children in November 2021.

She leaves behind six devastated children who she adored. She leaves behind her devastated brothers, sisters, mother, father, stepdad, and stepmum. She had a large family, who are all heartbroken…
Tamby will leave a huge hole and massive impact on all the family. She touched the lives of countless people — the hole she has left will never be filled and our hearts are broken. *
